Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and WWE star Xavier Woods have exchanged shots over Twitter, following Woods’ recent video game appearance.
An King Woods skin has been added to the Fall Guys online game ahead of SummerSlam this Saturday (July 30).
When a fan noted that they couldn’t pick up a win, even with the skin, Woods pointed out that they still have a crown.
Believing the fan would’ve done better with a Kenny Omega skin, Omega replied:
“Kinda like you, that person didn’t EARN it which explains the disappointment. Don’t worry friend, once a Kenny Omega skin drops you shall haveth your moment in the sun!”
Woods responded by naming the games in which he’s a playable character. Pointing out that fans can play as Kenny Omega if they download a fan-made custom Create-A-Superstar from 2K Community Creations, Woods tweeted:
“Earned? Besides EARNING my crown I EARNED spots in Gears of War, Bomberman, Brawlhalla, and now Fall Guys. But congrats on being available in the 2K community creations.”
This is not the first time Omega and Woods have traded shots over video games, with The Elite and The New Day facing off on Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition at E3 2018.
Omega has also been involved in an online feud with NJPW’s Will Ospreay, with Omega recently stating that a Will Ospreay T-shirt design triggered ‘various legal concerns‘ within AEW.
Omega hasn’t wrestled since November 2021, and has underwent multiple surgeries during his time away from the ring.
