AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, and AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks, have recently teased a reunion with Adam Cole.
On a 2017 episode of Being the Elite, “Adam Cole’s character” was poisoned, ahead of the competitor’s NXT debut. Following reports that Cole hasn’t yet re-signed with WWE, Kenny Omega posted a photo of “dead” Adam Cole to Instagram:

It seems Matt and Nick Jackson are interested in contacting their friend. The latest Young Bucks bio links to a “The Most Infamous Seances in History” video, suggesting that they will join the list of those who have contacted the “dead”.
It was previously reported that Cole’s WWE contract had expired, but the former NXT Champion signed an extension long enough to compete at NXT TakeOver 36.It has since been noted that there aren’t plans for Cole to appear on the August 23 episode of Raw.
It has been speculated that Cole will sign with AEW and join his girlfriend, the current AEW Women’s Champion, Britt Baker.
