KENTA Responds To Forbidden Door 2023 Rumors With Message For Tony Khan AEW

Find out what KENTA has to say directly to Tony Khan after word spread that he was being pitched for a match against CM Punk.

After a report earlier stating that a potential match between KENTA and CM Punk could be being pitched for the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view,

There is reportedly a very spicy match being discussed as a possibility for the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

And now, one of the central figures being pitched has responded on Twitter with a message for Tony Khan directly.

According to an earlier report from Fightful Select, there are internal rumblings that not only may KENTA appear at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door2023  pay-per-view, he might have an eyebrow raising opponent.

While nothing is confirmed, there has at least been discussion of KENTA facing CM Punk after decades long beef over their shared finishing move, the GTS.

Now, KENTA has responded on Twitter, writing:

“Oh hell no

Tell Tony Khan

GIVE ME THE BAG”

KENTA recently beat AEW signee Nick Wayne for the DEFY Championship in the independent promotion known for a good working relationship with AEW.

DEFY will have independent shows partnering with PROGRESS Wrestling in both Toronto and London ahead of AEW’s upcoming pay-per-views.

There is one AEW star who has a guaranteed future match against KENTA: Eddie Kingston.

KENTA will put the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship on the line against Eddie Kingston at NJPW STRONG Independence Day in Korakuen Hall on July 4 in Japan.
