WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has apologised to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson over social media for issues that arose in 2002.
The Rock and Kevin Nash have not always seen eye to eye behind the scenes. Among other issues the duo had with one another, Nash previously argued that he needed to re-establish himself in WWE after he returned to the company in 2002, and that he’d have made sure The Rock accepted that.
On Twitter, Nash shared a gym photo following his Comic Con appearance:
Great day at Indiana Comic Con. Thanks NWO Nation for the strong showing. Fantastic hotel gym. Got arms and abs in. Thanks @TheRock for putting out these bad ass kicks. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow I'll hit my table at 10:30. Despite a nice wine list downstairs pic.twitter.com/utKBmWWD9k

Praising Nash’s physique, The Rock called the Hall of Famer an inspiration. Nash replied, complimenting The Rock for his work ethic. He then apologised to the former WWE Champion for his attitude in 2002, noting he was just trying to ‘keep his spot’.
Following your lead. You're work ethic is amazing. You're filming schedule would kill most mortals but the promotion for your films is the grind. You film and promote at the same time. Sorry I was such a dick to you when I came back in 2002. Just trying to keep my spot.

The two stars seem to have moved on from their past grievances with one another.
Following reports that The Rock was set to return to WWE at Survivor Series, an update has emerged on The Great One’s wrestling future. The former WWE Champion has also revealed that he hasn’t ruled out a potential presidential bid.
