Former WWE Champion Kevin Nash announced his retirement yesterday and now we know why. Nash took to Twitter to reveal that his body was in very rough shape and retirement was his best course of action.
The reason I retired was I was deformed and basically crippled. This knee replacement and 2 years of rehab and training has been brutal. Just get my hips to realign was incredibly painful. To the haters fuck off To those that have championed my recovery I send my thanks and love. pic.twitter.com/NHNqrc6MFB

The tweet in its entirety read as follows:
“The reason I retired was I was deformed and basically crippled. The knee replacement and 2 years of rehab and training has been brutal. Just get my hips to realign was incredibly painful. The the haters f*** off To those that have championed my recovery I send my thanks and love”.
Nash had suffered multiple serious injuries over the years. He had undergone over a dozen surgeries on his knees, as well as surgery on his biceps and ankle among others.
He certainly seems to be in much better shape now and we wish him well in his retirement.
