It was one of the riskiest and most talked-about bumps off a WWE cage since Mick Foley’s 20 years ago.
Kevin Owens’ fall from the top of the metal structure at Extreme Rules saw him well and truly get the hands of his rival Braun Strowman.
But that’s not all KO received after crashing through the announcers’ table following his death-defying topple on Sunday night.
According to WWE.com, Owens was rushed to a local medical facility following his 20-foot fall and suffered “multiple injuries, including bruising of the shoulder and back, bruised ribs and a neck strain”.
“He will be re-evaluated later in the week.”
Now you would expect that Owens’ injuries have been exaggerated for storyline purposes. But GiveMeSport has another theory…

Owens was kept off last night’s Raw due to his health issues. Meanwhile, his Twitter @FightOwensFight is currently on lockdown with no tweets, an empty timeline and a black screen where his profile picture and banner should be.
The Canadian star is still being advertised for this weekend’s WWE live events in Kentucky.
