As many of you will already know, during the WWE Championship contract signing on last night’s episode of SmackDown Live, Vince McMahon replaced Kofi Kingston with a returning Kevin Owens. This means that at WWE Fastlane, it will be KO vs. Daniel Bryan for the blue brand’s top prize.
Although this will undoubtedly be a great match, almost everyone wanted to see Kofi in that spot – it’s definitely not to postpone Kofi’s challenge until WrestleMania. Boom. Sarcasm.
Even Owens, who I’m pretty sure is still a babyface as he teamed with Kofi later in the night against the Straight Veg Society and pulled out a Stunner to end the match, knows that he should not have this spot right now. As one of WWE’s best when it comes to social media, KO took to Twitter to “congratulate” Vince McMahon on his brilliant change of heart:

He’s just amazing, isn’t he?
