WWE star Kevin Owens has recently deleted a ‘Mount Rushmore’ tweet, fuelling speculation that he will soon join AEW.
On Twitter, Owens shared coordinates for Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. Teasing a team reunion, the former Universal Champion changed his Twitter location to “almost there”.
Mount Rushmore was the name of Owens’ faction with Adam Cole and The Young Bucks in PWG between 2013-2014. Cole notably made his AEW debut on Sunday at All Out, aligning himself with The Elite.
Former WWE stars Ruby Soho (Ruby Riott) and Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) also made appearances during the show. Following the pay-per-view, Owens seemed happy for his friends, tweeting:
“It’s awesome when good things happen to good people but it’s even better when good things happen to great people.”
Owens WWE deal is set to expire in January 2022. In a 2018 interview, Owens said that he saw no reason why he wouldn’t finish his career in WWE.
