Kevin Owens Explains Hilarious Origins Of His Panda WWE Merchandise WWE

Kevin Owens has explained the hilarious origins of his new panda WWE merchandise.

Owens’ new WWE shirt design features a muscly panda bear wearing Owens’ previous ‘Fight Owens Fight’ merch.

The WWE star has now revealed that he specifically asked for a panda on his ‘Kevin Owens Rules’ shirt, purely because pandas also rule.

Explaining how the design came to be, Owens tweeted:

For those asking why there’s a panda on my new shirt on @WWEShop, allow me to explain.

Here’s what happened:

Joe: “What do you want on your next shirt?”

Me: “I don’t know. A panda?”

Joe: “A panda? Why?!”

Me: “Because pandas rule!”

Joe: “Ok!”

Before joining WWE, Owens, then Kevin Steen, had several merchandise designs featuring pandas, including his ‘Panda Bear Steen Enthusiast’ shirt.

Owens last wrestled on the June 13 edition of WWE Raw, losing to Ezekiel via countout. His match with either Ezekiel, Elias or Elrod was pulled from the June 27 episode of Raw, reportedly due to a minor injury.

The popular star’s TV win/loss record for this year is currently an even 10-10. Stay up to date with WWE win/loss records for 2022 using our tracker at this link.
