Kevin Owens really doesn’t like Texas. If only there was a 57-year-old native Texan who hasn’t wrestled in 19 years who could teach him a lesson.
Owens continued his attack on the state of Texas this past Monday night on Raw, which was seen by WWE legend Booker T, who came to the defense of his home state.
Booker challenged Owens to a fight to defend Texas’ honour, but it seems Kevin Owens has better things to do…like continuing to abuse Texas.
In a Twitter video response to Booker’s challenge, Kevin Owens called Booker a liar, and pointed out he once wrestled in a tag team called Harlem Heat. Owens said:
“You’re right, we were cool. I guess we’re not anymore. You seem to have taken an issue with what I was saying about Texas. But here’s the thing. You can’t call me a liar. Evidently, you’re from Texas, but you spent a lot of your career in a tag team called Harlem Heat. So who’s the liar? I get it. I get being from Texas and wanting to pretend like you’re not from Texas.”

The report is that Owens’ Texas bashing will lead to some kind of WrestleMania match or physical segment with Stone Cold Steve Austin, but it isn’t clear which of those it will be.
