Kevin Owens has named the WWE NXT stars he’d look to if he needed backup on Monday Night Raw.
Kevin Owens made one of the most impactful WWE main roster debuts ever on the May 18, 2015 edition of Raw, dropping US Champion John Cena, and celebrating with his NXT Championship.
The Prizefighter has now shared his thoughts on the current NXT roster.
Speaking on WWE The Bump, Owens stated that if he needs reinforcements, he’ll call Julius & Brutus Creed, noting:
“You know, there’s a lot of really good talent over there but right now I think the Creed brothers are kind of head and shoulders above everyone else, if I’m gonna be brutally honest. I really love them.
“I love to be in the ring with them or you know if I ever need backup, they’re probably guys I would look to. They had great leadership for a while and clearly it did them some good. They’re thriving.”
The Creed Brothers unsuccessfully challenged for Pretty Deadly’s NXT Tag Team Championship in a steel cage match on the September 13 edition of NXT. The duo lost the titles to Elton Prince & Kit Wilson at NXT Heatwave, after Damon Kemp turned on the duo.
Kevin Owens was recently officially moved to the babyface side of the Raw roster internally.
