A top WWE star is reportedly set to face GUNTHER on the June 5 edition of WWE Raw.
Over the past few weeks, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens have had no shortage of potential challengers for their titles.
After coming up victorious against The Bloodline’s Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at WWE Night of Champions, Zayn and Owens were confronted by Imperium on the May 29 episode of Raw.
Now, it looks like Imperium will once again be the opposition for the champions on this week’s show.
Per WRKD Wrestling, Kevin Owens will face Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER on tonight’s June 5 episode of WWE Raw.
This will mark the first time these two competitors have gone one-on-one with each other.
The outcome of this encounter could set up the challengers for either man’s title gold. If Kevin Owens is able to come out with a win, he could be in line for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.
If GUNTHER is able to score a victory over KO, this could lead to Imperium being in line for a shot at the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.
Zayn and Owens previously picked up a win over Ludvig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci on the May 8 episode of Raw.
GUNTHER is coming off a successful defense of the Intercontinental Championship over Mustafa Ali at WWE Night of Champions.
