Latest On Kevin Owens Following Triple H Taking Over WWE Creative WWE

Here is the latest on Kevin Owens’ absence, following Triple H taking over WWE creative.

Owens last wrestled on the June 13 edition of WWE Raw, losing to Ezekiel via countout.

The star has made occasional appearances for WWE since, but ultimately wasn’t featured on the August 1 edition of Raw, which many viewed as the first of the ‘Triple H era’ of WWE.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Owens didn’t miss the show due to injury. The report noted:

“We’ve not heard of an injury or anything of the like. Instead, we’re told that creative is being cooked up for him for plans moving forward.”

Owens is often referred to as a ‘Triple H guy’, with the star winning the NXT Championship early in his run with the brand under Triple H’s regime.

Triple H is also linked on-screen with Owens’ first World Title reign, with The Game hitting Rollins with a pedigree to allow Owens to pin him for the vacant Universal Championship in August 2016.

Dakota Kai and Karrion Kross (with Scarlett) have returned to WWE following Triple H taking over creative.

Triple H is reportedly expected to continue reshaping the WWE main roster, which you can read more about right here.
