Kevin Owens Recalls Wrestling Spots That Hurt Him The Most

Kevin Owens has shared video clips of the two spots that have hurt him the most during his entire wrestling career, noting that a spot from WWE Raw might’ve just made the list.

On Monday’s show, Owens went one-on-one with Bobby Lashley, trying to prevent The All Mighty from earning his way into the WWE Day 1 WWE Championship bout.

During the match, Owens attempted a senton from the ring apron but Lashley dodged, sending Owens to crash and burn on the outside of the ring.

Retweeting a GIF of the moment, Owens admitted that the spot destroyed him, writing:

“I often get asked what hurt me the most throughout my career and there’s 2 specific things that always come to mind but as of last night, there’s a new answer to add to that list because for some reason, this absolutely destroyed me.”

When asked what the other two painful spots were, Owens replied with two videos. One was of Owens receiving a chokeslam from the former Braun Strowman onto the metal portion of the ramp:

The other featured the former Universal Champion being thrown back-first into a ROH ring apron:

Owens will face off against Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley and Big E in a four-way match for the WWE Championship at WWE Day 1. The Prizefighter’s WWE contract is reportedly set to expire in January 2022.
