Kevin Owens WWE Crown Jewel 2024 Status Update

Kevin Owens WWE Crown Jewel 2024 Status Update WWE

There has been an update on Kevin Owens’ status for the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel event after having spoken out about his treatment.

In a video that aired on tonight’s WWE SmackDown, and was posted by Kevin Owens himself on social media earlier, Owens opened up about what he felt was a betrayal by Randy Orton.

Even though it was Owens who attacked Orton on SmackDown last week after doing the same to Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood, Owens believed it was Orton who betrayed him by choosing Cody over him and supporting Cody’s decision to team with Roman Reigns, which Owens was against

Owens ended the video by saying he doesn’t know “when or if” he’ll return to WWE.

Later in a separate backstage segment, Randy Orton followed up with Nick Aldis, saying that he wants a match against Owens at Crown Jewel on November 2.

However, Aldis rejected Orton’s request, saying that he’d received instructions from higher-ups and couldn’t make the match official.

Orton then replied saying that he knows who he needs to talk to, with most fans assuming he was referring to Triple H.

Owens’ WWE contract is legitimately set to expire near the start of 2024, leading to some fans wondering if he’s being written off TV for that reason.
