The Kingdom Sign With AEW

The Kingdom Sign With AEW AEW

Updates have emerged on several stars’ AEW statuses, following their recent appearances for the company.

Maria Kanellis, Mike Bennett and Matt Taven of The Kingdom made their AEW debuts on the October 14 edition of Rampage.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), the trio didn’t have AEW contracts at the time, but are now signed to AEW. According to the report, all three have signed multi-year deals.

It was noted that FTR had pushed to get them involved in the ROH Tag Team Title picture.

Kanellis, Bennett and Taven finished up with IMPACT Wrestling during the post-Bound For Glory TV tapings, with Bennett and Taven dropping the IMPACT Tag Team Title during those tapings.

It has been pointed out that Maria Kanellis now joins Brandi Rhodes as the only women who have appeared for WWE, AEW, ROH, IMPACT and NJPW.

It had previously been reported that WWE was interested in Matt Taven, while he was a free agent.

WWE’s Karl Anderson is currently dealing with an uncertain title situation of his own, with the star currently holding the NJPW NEVER Openweight Championship.

Anderson has now responded to NJPW’s ultimatum regarding the title, which you can read more about right here.
