Kit Wilson has found a new object of toxic masculinity in WWE, naming Randy Orton as a ‘main character’ he doesn’t like.
Randy Orton recently turned heel during his feud with Cody Rhodes, as the pair head to their Undisputed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 42, with Pat McAfee recently returning and siding with The Viper.
In a recent appearance on 99.7 NOW with Big Reid, Kit Wilson was asked which star thinks they’re the ‘main character’ in WWE.
Not a fan of Randy Orton’s recent actions, Wilson responded:
“We really get a good answer to that on this road to WrestleMania. We’re two weeks out, Las Vegas. This is the big event of the year. Everyone wants to be at the top, so you really find out who is toxic and who is letting that power and that greed corrupt them.
“I’ll give you one name, Randy Orton. He’s a problem. He’s a legend, he’s a (future) Hall of Famer. He used to be a good guy, but something this season is turning him. I don’t like it.
“I will say this, he did RKO Jelly Roll, I was smiling to myself, but he’s a bad man.”

Jelly Roll received an RKO from Orton on the March 27 episode of WWE SmackDown, with The Miz commenting on the moment after the show. The rapper had previously teamed with Orton in a losing effort to Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul at SummerSlam in August of last year.
On the same episode, Jelly Roll would compete in his second ever WWE match, defeating Kit Wilson.
Everybody Loves The Bad Guy (Orton)
It may not be a literal proof, but there are plenty of fans who will cheer on the bad guy, and it’s something that Randy Orton has experienced over his career.
While it could be argued that Orton doesn’t need to be associated with Pat McAfee, with a recent CM Punk promo seemingly exposing some of the frustrations among WWE stars at the announcer’s involvement, this is the situation that is playing out ahead of WrestleMania 42.
Fans have seen this before from Orton, with the former Evolution member having quite the history – attacking Stacy Keibler in 2005 ahead of his match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 21, or betraying Edge in Early 2020, following the latter’s return at Royal Rumble on January 26, having retired back in 2011. Orton was even a member of the Wyatt Family, becoming a SmackDown Tag Team Champion with Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper under Freebird Rules.
Clearly at home playing the heel, Orton has shown the variety of his Viper persona and the lengths to which he will go to achieve his goal, something that we may very well see in the WrestleMania 42 Night 1 main event on April 18.
