A former WWE star has now made their debut in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, cutting an expletive promo after their victory.
At today’s Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship event in Newcastle, a former WWE star officially made his debut for the promotion.
On the show, Gzim Selmani, who wrestled in WWE as Rezar, made his BKFC debut against Daniel Curtin, picking up the win in his debut match for the promotion.
Gzim Selmani’s Expletive Post Fight Interview
Following his victory, Selmani would take to the microphone for his post-fight interview, where he would go on a very expletive rant towards the crowd.
Selmani did not endear himself to the fans in Newcastle, noting that he was here to ‘knock motherf***ers out’ all over the world, and referenced his time in WWE.
Selmani said:
“I’m here to knock motherf***ers out, anywhere in the motherf***ing world, come get it motherf***ers, I’m f***ing done with everybody motherf***ers.
“F**k this place too. Give it to me. I’m the motherf***ing Albanian Psycho, I’m the motherf***er who came from WWE to this place, I fought my ass off and I’m here. I’m here to stay motherf***ers whether you like it or not.
“The Albanian Psycho has arrived at BKFC, the most dominant, the most crazy combat sport in the world. Let’s f***ing get it, I’m ready for anything.”
Who Was Gzim Selmani In WWE?
Gzim Selmani initially signed with World Wrestling Entertainment back in 2015, with him reporting to the WWE Performance Center prior to his official NXT debut the following year in 2016.
In WWE, Selmani competed under the ring name Rezar, where he was a member of the Authors of Pain tag team alongside Akam, with them initially being managed by WWE Hall of Fame manager Paul Ellering, who guided them to NXT Tag Team Championship success.
Authors of Pain were called up to WWE’s main roster in 2018, where they immediately ditched Paul Ellering. Akam and Rezar would go on to win the Raw Tag Team Championship later that year, but were initially released from the company in September 2020.
The Authors of Pain were then re-signed by the company alongside Ellering in 2022, and after over a year off television made their returns in January 2024 as part of the Final Testament stable with Karrion Kross and Scarlett, before they were once again released from WWE in February 2025, ending their run.
