Kofi Kingston has reacted to the 10-year anniversary of the New Day’s WWE debut amid ongoing breakup teases.
WWE announced that next week’s episode of Raw will feature a 10-year anniversary celebration for the New Day.
However, things are not currently well in the world of positivity, with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods teasing a breakup of the group after months of miscommunication and arguments between them.
Today (November 28) officially marks the 10 year anniversary of the group’s debut, when Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods redebuted on SmackDown.
Taking to Twitter to react to the anniversary, Kofi Kingston simply wrote:
10 years…crazy…it’s been one Hell of a ride. So thankful…
During the New Day’s run together, they went on to break the record as the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history back in 2016, with their record later being broken by the Usos.
The New Day has continued on as a duo for the past two years after Big E suffered a broken neck on SmackDown back in March 2022.
Amid ongoing speculation, there has reportedly been ‘multiple pitches’ for Big E to make an appearance at next year’s anniversary segment.
