During Saturday night’s SummerSlam show, Xavier Woods came out alone and confronted The Miz and John Morrison, squirting them with a ‘Drip Stick 2000′ dressed as Scott Hall, in a promotional segment with Pure Life Purified Water.
Conspicuous by his absence was Woods’ New Day tag team partner, Kofi Kingston, who also did not accompany Woods on tonight’s (August 23) Raw show for his match with The Miz.
PWInsider is reporting that Kingston has not been cleared to compete. The reason was not given. They noted that Kofi was supposed to be a part of the segment at SummerSlam dressed as another member of the nWo, but he was not on the road this weekend.
Woods ended up defeating The Miz on Raw, which resulted in the breakup of Miz and John Morrison.
