Following his incredible induction speech for Rey Mysterio at the 2023 Hall of Fame ceremony, it seems like Konnan may be set for more WWE dealings in the future.
Discussing his HOF appearance on his latest Keepin’ it 100 Podcast, the former WCW star would be asked if he met with current WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, in which Konnan would reply:
“Yes, I did. He was very nice. I don’t want to get into it, but it looks like we might have another conversation.”
While Konnan’s appearance at the HOF was his first in the WWE since competing as Max Moon in the early nineties, as mentioned, his induction speech was reportedly very well received backstage in WWE.
However, what makes things interesting in regards to this tease by Konnan is his current ties to several notable promotions in North America, which include IMPACT, AAA and MLW.
While WWE has seemingly been more collaborative with other promotions since Triple H took charge, a partnership with MLW in particular would be highly unlikely given their recent legal dispute.
Whether Konnan was alluding to a partnership with a fellow promotion and WWE or just him himself working with the company remains to be seen, however, it’s clear that a few potential doors may have been opened following his HOF speech.
