Konosuke Takeshita Returning To Japan Soon AEW

DDT Pro star Konosuke Takeshita has revealed that he will soon leave AEW and return to Japan for an upcoming event.

Takeshita has gained popularity internationally during his excursion, notably winning over AEW fans with recent matches against the likes of Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley.

The Japanese star has confirmed that his execution is coming to an end, noting that he’ll be returning to Japan for the August 20 DDT Wrestle Peter Pan event.

Takeshita took to Twitter the note:

Your support really encouraged me!!

I have to go back to Japan at the DDT big show on August 20. I don’t have much time left in the US. I hope to come back to here soon and I hope you all feel the same way.

Takeshita’s most recent match for AEW aired on Monday’s (July 25) edition of Dark: Elevation, with the popular star losing to JD Drake in singles action.

Following a one-off appearance at ‘House Always Wins’ in 2021, Takeshita returned to AEW in April, and has wrestled on Dark, Dark: Elevation, Dynamite and Rampage during his most recent stint with the company.
