An injured AEW star has provided an update on working towards return.
In August 2022, Kris Statlander revealed that she underwent knee surgery after suffering an injury during an episode of AEW Dark. This knee issue came after she tore her ACL in 2020.
The timetable for her return that was given at that time was 6-8 months, which means that if her injury rehab has gone well, then she could be back very soon.
In a video posted to her Instagram story, Statlander showed her physique and appeared to be in impressive shape, working her way back to a return to the ring.
Although Statlander has been off of television for months, she has been backstage at AEW shows, according to former AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. during an interview on Busted Open Radio.
As previously reported, Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio could be back in action in the near future.
