It looks like we’re getting a few character changes on AEW, with both Kris Statlander and Wheeler Yuta both teasing new gimmicks on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
As you can see below, Kris Statlander appears to be moving away from the “alien” gimmick she has had since she debuted in AEW.

Wheeler Yuta, who teamed with Chuck Taylor in a tag team loss to Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson, also appears to be heading for a character change.
After the match, Yuta entered the ring to try and shake William Regal’s hand, but instead of a handshake, Regal slapped him in the face. Yuta squared up to Regal, and it seems he might be heading for either a solo run, or as a more violent character.
