WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle will be retiring in just six days at WrestleMania 35. Before he steps away from the squared circle, Angle was scheduled to have two more matches, one against Rey Mysterio as part of his “farewell tour” on Raw, and the final against Baron Corbin inside MetLife Stadium on the “grandest stage of them all”. However, it appears one might have been cancelled.
WWE.com does not list Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio, a rematch from their excellent SummerSlam 2002 clash, on the preview for tonight’s go-home episode of Raw. The match was listed on the website a few days ago, but has seemingly been removed.
However, this could be a mistake on the part of WWE, as Kurt Angle took to Instagram just six hours ago to hype up his match with the former World Heavyweight Champion.

It remains to be seen if WWE will have this match go ahead. WWE fans were given the chance to see Angle work with guys like Samoa Joe and AJ Styles as a consolation for the huge backlash to his final opponent being chosen to be Baron Corbin over a more high-profile choice.
Fans were looking forward to Angle’s clash with Mysterio, and will likely be even more annoyed about the upcoming WrestleMania bout with Corbin if Kurt’s final Raw bout has indeed been cancelled.
