WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has discussed the possibility of a return to the ring for a rematch with Shane McMahon.
Angle and McMahon notably faced off in a Street Fight at the 2001 King of the Ring pay-per-view.
The duo have shared the ring a handful of times, most recently when leading their respective Raw and SmackDown sides in the 2017 men’s Survivor Series bout.
On his Kurt Angle Show podcast, Angle noted that he always enjoyed working with Shane, noting:
“Shane was great. I always loved working with him. Whether we were wrestling or cutting promos. We’ll never live down the match at King of the Ring.
“No matter how many times I wrestle Shane we will never duplicate that match, ever.”
Discussing the possibility of another match with Shane McMahon, Kurt Angle revealed that he’d have to be offered a lot of money to consider taking the bout:
“Man, that’s tough. Well, that would have to be a lot of money, I’m talking ten million.”
Angle retired from in-ring competition after losing to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
The popular star recently named a realistic scenario in which he could see himself returning to the ring.
Angle is set to appear on Friday’s (December 9) edition of WWE SmackDown.
