Kurt Angle Thinks About Potential Return To The Ring ‘All The Time’ WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has teased a return to the ring following his recent knee replacement surgeries.

Angle stepped away from the ring following his WrestleMania 35 match with Baron (Happy) Corbin in 2019. The Olympic Gold Medallist has turned down offers from both IMPACT and AEW since retiring.

During the latest episode of ‘Gold Medal Q&A with Kurt Angle’, Angle noted that he could see himself stepping into the ring for one more match.

Noting that he thinks about a potential return to the ring a lot, Angle said:

“It’s been two and a half months since I had my knees replaced. Both at the same time. It’s a little rough doing both of them at the same time. But you know what I’m not gonna count out anything,” said the Olympic gold medalist.

“I’ve told so many reporters and people from the news that I was done but there is a chance that I might end up coming back. I don’t know when, but it’ll probably be for one last match.

“I didn’t wanna do that until my knees got better but I’m not gonna lie to you. I think about it all the time. I possibly could (return), yes.”

Angle is set to make his WWE return on the August 29 edition of Raw, which will air from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The show will notably be the go-home episode for the September 3 Clash at the Castle premium live event.
