Kurt Angle knows a thing or two about being a big star in wrestling. He also knows a thing or two about main eventing WrestleMania.
During a recent Facebook Q&A session. Angle revealed who he believes could main event next year’s WrestleMania. The two men he chose were current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and Aleister Black. Here is the quote:
“Aleister Black vs Drew Mcintyre could be next year’s WrestleMania main event. Both are exceptional talents.”
Angle and McIntyre wrestled on Raw in November of 2018. While it was not really a blowaway performance, it may have offered Angle some insight into just how talented McIntyre is.
McIntyre recently defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 to become WWE Champion. He has been feuding with Zelina Vega’s stable of Angel Garza, Andrade and Austin Theory since. He will defend the title at the Money in the Bank pay per view against Seth Rollins.
Black, on the other hand, defeated Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania and recently qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Angle himself main evented WrestleMania XIX in 2003 when he lost the WWE Championship to a young Brock Lesnar.
