Kurt Angle has trolled his fans, amidst rumors that the WWE Hall of Famer will make an appearance at WWE Royal Rumble.
Following a report that WWE planned for Angle to be in St Louis during Royal Rumble weekend, it has been speculated that Angle will be a surprise entrant in the 30-man over-the-top-rope contest. Angle has now revealed that it’s true… that he won’t be in this year’s bout.
Angle has shared a video of himself sitting up in bed, with the caption ‘When they say be ready for the Royal Rumble at 6:59…’. Angle then tucked himself back into bed, ‘Not this time!’.

Per Fightful’s report, there have been talks backstage about Angle returning as an on-screen presence in WWE. The company had reportedly planned on having Angle in St. Louis since last weekend.
