It was announced earlier today that Kushida was not medically cleared to compete on NXT. Now, he has commented on his current situation.
Taking to Twitter, Kushida said that he is stunned that he cannot compete tonight. Here is what he tweeted:
“I’m sorry for everyone who was looking forward to tonight title match. Did not cleared the medical. I can’t do anything and I’m just stunned…
I promise to be back on TV soon. Thank you for your support
@WWENXT”
Kushida was scheduled to defend the NXT Cruiserweight Championship against Roderick Strong on tonight’s NXT. Instead, Strong will now compete in an open challenge.
