Former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida and Ikemen Jiro have revealed their new tag team name ahead of their NXT 2.0 tag team debut.
The Japanese duo will be known as ‘Jacket Time’, as they said during an interview that aired on WWE’s social media this week (as you can see below).
Because… Jiro wears a jacket and Kushida is obsessed with clocks for some reason.
On the November 9 episode of NXT 2.0, they’ll team up for the first time on NXT TV to take on the Creed Brothers, Brutus and Julius.
Kushida and Jiro have had two matches as a pairing recently, but they were both on 205 Live.
The first was a loss to now-NXT Tag Team Champions Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel on September 28, and then they lost to the Grizzled Young Veterans in a match taped last night for this coming Friday’s 205 Live.
The Creed Brothers’ most recent match on NXT 2.0 was also a loss to Aichner and Barthel, but Julius did get a singles win over Jiro recently.
Also announced for next week’s show is Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) vs Io Shirai, Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro.
