Kyle O’Reilly On His AEW Debut, Career Being Linked To Adam Cole AEW

Kyle O’Reilly has spoken out about what it was like to debut for All Elite Wrestling and be reunited in the ring with his Undisputed Era brothers Adam Cole and Bobby Fish in a recent interview with The Zaslow Show.

O’Reilly reflected on his bond with Adam Cole and their inextricably linked careers, saying:

“Adam Cole and I have basically been in the same company since 2009, you know? We’ve always been in the same company, same locker room, whether we’re fighting each other or working together, our careers have always been linked for as long as I’ve known the guy, so that was a little weird. Of course, it would only be a few months before I jumped ship and joined him, but yeah, it certainly…it’s interesting, because I feel like for the rest of our careers, I think, they’ll sort of be mirrored with each other, we’ll always be around each other in some shape or form.”

Once O’Reilly made the decision to join Cole in AEW, he was nervous for his debut but ultimately thinks it was a great moment, saying:

“Yeah, you’re always going to be nervous about starting something new. Like a new career path or a new company, it’s always going to be a gamble, but that’s all that wrestling is. You throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks, and I felt in my gut and in my heart that this was the right decision to make and to go to AEW and I was so excited about it. And yeah, the debut was very cool, it was surreal, and it kind of just happened in an instant, and in a flash it was over. But yeah, running out there and hearing a crowd getting excited about something, not necessarily just excited about seeing ‘Oh, there’s Kyle O’Reilly,”but just seeing the three of us together, Bobby Fish, Adam Cole, and Kyle O’Reilly together in an AEW ring. It was a pretty cool moment, not just for us, but for the fans as well, I think.”

Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish’s reDRagon tag team will see action at Sunday March 6, 2022 AEW Revolution where they take on the Young Bucks and Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus for the AEW Tag Team Championships.
