Former AEW and IMPACT competitor Kylie Rae is set to return to wrestling after stepping away from the ring late last year.
Last November, Kylie Rae announced that she was no longer a pro wrestler. Seemingly retiring, Rae also noted that she was taking a break from social media before deactivating her accounts.
It has just been announced that Rae will return to action for Warrior Wrestling, where she is still Women’s Champion. The promotion took to Twitter to reveal that on June 5, Rae will step back between the ropes to defend her title.
Announcing Rae’s return for the Chicago show, Warrior Wrestling tweeted:
“SMILIE. KYLIE. RAE. She’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. Saturday, June 5th. Warrior Wrestling. Chicago. Defending her title. Match announcement to follow…(but the timing of this announcement may give you a clue….)”
Currently, Rae’s challenger is not known. It also isn’t known if Rae is returning to the ring full-time, or if she’s just fulfilling obligations as she promised she’d do in her retirement announcement.
Rae was last seen in the ring against Kimber Lee on the October 13 episode of IMPACT. She was scheduled to face Tessa Blanchard at Bound For Glory 2020 before stepping away from wrestling.
