A WWE star has broken character to praise Sami Zayn.
Over the past 12 months, no one has evolved and risen the ranks as much as Sami Zayn. After losing to Johnny Knoxville at WrestleMania 38, Zayn aligned himself with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.
This association has led to some of the best television WWE has produced in well over a decade. The former “Honorary Uce” has become a prominent member of the roster and has improved his game by leaps and bounds.
In a new interview with The Daily Show, LA Knight discussed how Sami Zayn has evolved to become one of the best talkers in the business.
Noting Zayn’s improvement from earlier in his career when he avoided doing promos, Knight said:
“I’m gonna use Sami Zayn as a great example. He avoided it, wasn’t a very good talker. Actually, didn’t want to talk. Now he’s like one of the best in the business.”
“You put him in front of a microphone, in front of a camera and it’s electric. The people love him.”
Sami Zayn will team with Kevin Owens to face The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 39 Night 1 on Saturday, April 1. For the full lineup for the show, click here.
Meanwhile, LA Knight will compete in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on this Friday’s SmackDown.
As previously reported, Knight’s WrestleMania 39 status has been the subject of much debate, but it has seemingly been confirmed.
