After 118 days, LA Knight’s reign as the United States Champion came to an end at last night’s show, when he lost the championship to Shinsuke Nakamura, beginning Nakamura’s third run with the title.
Knight captured the championship from Logan Paul back at SummerSlam, which marked LA Knight’s first championship victory on the WWE main roster, and he has now reacted to his defeat.

Nakamura recently made his return to WWE television after not appearing since April, making his first appearance on SmackDown since he was drafted to the brand back in May.
He previously captured the United States Championship back at Extreme Rules in 2018, where he defeated Jeff Hardy to win the title for the first time.
After losing the title to Rusev on the Christmas Day episode of SmackDown that year, he would regain the title on the Kick-Off show for the 2019 Royal Rumble.
