A popular WWE star has discussed Triple H acknowledging his support.
2023 has seen a wave of momentum for LA Knight over the SmackDown brand as the self-proclaimed Megastar has been receiving some of the biggest reactions on WWE events as of late.
At WWE SummerSlam, Knight picked up his biggest win on the main roster so far by winning the Slim Jim Battle Royal by last eliminating Sheamus.
Following the show, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H addressed the huge amount of support the WWE fans have given Knight.
Speaking with Alex McCarthy of Daily Mail, LA Knight discussed what Triple H had to say about his support. He stated:
“I don’t think he had a choice after a while. After Saudi Arabia they’re chanting it right in his face. And then in England a lot of the questions are about me, and I almost saw his face. He was probably like, more questions about this guy, this is getting out of control.”
“I understand that because when you’re sitting up there and doing a press conference and trying to get certain things across it’s almost like, ah man, this guy keeps coming up.”
“But you know what, that’s a sign, a true testament to the fact that whatever I’m doing is working.”
Since SummerSlam, LA Knight has entered into a rivalry with The Miz on both Raw and SmackDown.
As previously reported, The Miz is backstage at tonight’s SmackDown to confront Knight.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates and news from tonight’s SmackDown on the home page.
