During tonight’s WWE NXT, General Manager William Regal announced a ladder match for April 4’s TakeOver: Tampa event.
Regal declared that over the next few weeks there will be a tournament within the women’s division, with the finalists advancing to TakeOver.
The winner of that ladder match will become the next number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship.
The night after TakeOver at WrestleMania, Rhea Ripley defends the title against 2020 Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair.
