AEW Star Suggests Himself For Role As Horror Movie Icon

An AEW star has suggested himself for the role as a horror movie icon.

Several wrestlers have dabbled into Hollywood and gained starring roles for numerous iconic movie franchises.

From The Rock and John Cena in the Fast & Furious movies to Batista becoming Drax for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, there is no end of potential for stars of the squared circle in these films.

On May 9, the Jason Voorhees Twitter account asked who should pick up the infamous machete of the horror movie icon next.

AEW star Lance Archer quote tweeted his reply to suggest himself with a sinister video, saying:

I’ve got a suggestion

Archer hasn’t been on AEW Dynamite or Rampage in a few weeks, but his presence has been felt in New Japan Pro Wrestling where he has advanced to the finals of the IWGP United States Championship.

At NJPW Resurgence on May 21, Will Ospreay will face Hiroshi Tanahashi in a round one match. The winner of the bout will face Lance Archer in the finals at NJPW Dominion on June 4.
