Lance Archer Provides Injury Update Following Scary AEW Dynamite Spot

AEW star Lance Archer has provided an update following a scary spot during his match against Eddie Kingston on the October 23 edition of Dynamite.

During the AEW World Championship Eliminator tournament bout, Archer attempted to hit a top rope moonsault, but landed on his head. Clear that Archer was hurt, he was checked on by ringside doctors before Kingston promptly rolled Archer up to end the match.

Archer was fortunately able to walk under his own power following the contest. He has since taken to Twitter to thank everyone at AEW for taking care of him after the bout, noting:

“Listen. We choose to do this and take our health n lives in our hands every night. I’ve done that move hundreds of times over my career. Just under rotated. Coulda been MUCH worse. Thank you to ALL at @AEW for taking AMAZING care of me and protecting me. I’ll BE BACK!”

Sharing a photo of him sharing his ice pack with the MiniHawk, Archer has since tweeted:

We send our best wishes to Lance Archer, and hope he makes a safe and healthy return to the ring.
