Lance Archer Replacing Will Ospreay On Upcoming Indie Show Warrior Wrestling

An AEW star will be replacing former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay on an upcoming indie show this weekend.

Ospreay was originally scheduled for this Saturday’s Warrior Wrestling 22 event in St. Louis where he was set to defend the Warrior Wrestling Championship against Davey Richards.

The promotion announced via Twitter that Ospreay will not be appearing on the show due to his ongoing battle with a kidney infection.

As a replacement, AEW star Lance Archer will be appearing on the event. His opponent hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.

Will Ospreay recently did an interview where he revealed who he would like to face at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 26.
