Lash Legend Addresses WWE Main Roster Call Up

WWE’s Lash Legend has opened up on her mindset ahead of her main roster call up to SmackDown, and why she wasn’t surprised by it.

Lash Legend made her official WWE main roster debut on the November 7 episode of SmackDown, aligning with Nia Jax ahead of this year’s women’s War Games match.

Lash had made a number of appearances on the main roster last year when fighting for the Women’s Tag Team Championship, and she has now opened up on her call up to the SmackDown roster.

Speaking to Denise Salcedo, Lash noted that she was happy when she was told she was being officially called up, though she wasn’t surprised by it.

She said:

“So I got a notification that I was needed for TV, needed for SmackDown. And like you said I’ve had a lot of great opportunities on the main roster, so I didn’t officially know until I got there, but when I got there they were like ‘we’d love to have you officially on the SmackDown roster, on the main roster’ and I was like ‘yes!’ I was so happy, smiling ear to ear.

“Since they told me we’ve just been going. I’m like alright, I’m ready, I’m here, lets do it.

“Honestly no (she wasn’t surprised). I think honestly the past year I’ve been knowing, having a feeling in my gut since we had the storyline around this time last year with the tag division, I just knew since then surely. Surely I should be up there soon.

“So I’ve been very optimistic, it wasn’t really a matter of if, it was a matter of when. I’ve just been staying optimistic, ‘it has to happen. It’s gonna happen. It’s gonna happen. It’s gonna happen.’ So no I wasn’t surprised, I was very happy though when it officially did happen.”
