The last team to advance to the semi-finals of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament was revealed on tonight’s WWE SmackDown after a fatal-four way of eliminated teams competed for the final spot.
The bracket had been altered multiple times, first due to Zoey Stark and/or Nikkita Lyons being medically unable to compete and being subbed in with another NXT team, Toxic Attraction.
While Toxic Attraction won the match, they later found themselves unable to compete after an injury to Gigi Dolin.
After Dana Brooke did a superplex on Nikki A.S.H. off the top rope into basically all of the competitors below with Sonya Deville able to grab Nikki, roll her back in the ring to pick up the pinfall victory.
Still to come tonight, Sonya Deville and her tag team partner Natalya will face Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez as the tournament continues, as announced via graphic at the end of this match.
