During tonight’s episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network, a Last Woman Standing match was announced for New Year’s Evil on January 6.
As the “host” for the show Dexter Lumis revealed by drawing a picture – which he’s very good at – Rhea Ripley will take on Raquel Gonzalez in the Last Woman Standing bout in two weeks.
Ripley picked up a win over Gonzalez’s partner in crime Dakota Kai tonight, but Gonzalez confronted her afterwards and they had a big pull-apart in the ring.
This is added to a card that already has Finn Balor defending the NXT Title against Kyle O’Reilly, Damian Priest vs Karrion Kross, and Timothy Thatcher vs Tommaso Ciampa in the Fight Pit.
It was also announced that Leon Ruff will challenge Johnny Gargano for the North American Championship next week.
