Some last minute changes made to last night’s (March 18) episode of WWE SmackDown have been revealed.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), WWE originally planned for a Ridge Holland promo to take place on the show addressing the injury to Big E from the March 11 show.
Holland ended up not cutting a promo, instead wrestling Kofi Kingston in a match, and Big E’s social media updates airing in it’s place.
The show also saw Drew McIntyre team up with the Viking Raiders against Happy Corbin, Jinder Mahal and Shanky. Shanky was a late addition to the match, replacing Madcap Moss for reasons that were not given.
