Here’s the latest on the injury status of Asuka, who has been out of action with a shoulder injury since July 2021.
It was reported last month that there had been internal discussion about The Empress of Tomorrow potentially entering the women’s Royal Rumble match. While Asuka has yet to return to the ring, a new report indicates that the former Raw Women’s Champion will be back on our screens soon.
Per PWInsider, Asuka is currently expected to return to action in March. It was noted that this is not a certainty, as her return relies on her getting cleared, and sliding back into storylines.
Asuka hasn’t wrestled since Money in the Bank in July 2021. Asuka has been recovering from an injury since, with the star sharing a photo of her arm in a brace back in August.
