Latest On Potential Brock Lesnar WWE Return

A new report has provided an update on a potential Brock Lesnar WWE SummerSlam appearance, ahead of the August event.

It was previously reported that Brock Lesnar was in talks to return to WWE ahead of SummerSlam. Since then, it has been noted that the dream Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley match isn’t currently set for The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Andrew Zarian has noted that we might not see Lesnar at SummerSlam 2021 at all. Recalling previous reports regarding the planned John Cena vs Roman Reigns match, Zarian explained that Lesnar’s return isn’t definitely planned for August 21.

Zarian took to Twitter to say:

“To add to some of the reports I’m seeing from good sources like @SeanRossSapp, @JonAlba, and @WrestleVotes,The main event currently for SummerSlam is planned for Cena vs Reigns. Lesnar was in consideration for this show but I have not heard that it’s happening.

“Expect Lesnar to return at some point but I personally have not been told he is on the card for sure. I know there were some reports regarding this and it’s not accurate.”

Lesnar hasn’t wrestled since his WrestleMania 36 main-event against Drew McIntyre. Paul Heyman recently teased The Beast’s return, hinting that he’ll be back when WWE begins touring.

SummerSlam has been announced for Saturday, August 21. Triple H has confirmed that after In Your House this Sunday, the next NXT TakeOver event will take place during SummerSlam week.
