It was reported last night that the search for former WWE star Shad Gaspard had been called off, but it is now being reported that this was a false report, and that the search is ongoing.
Gaspard was caught in a riptide while swimming with his son off the coast of Los Angeles, and while his son was successfully rescued, Gaspard hasn’t been since.
The LA Fire Department issued the following regarding Shad’s disappearance.
Venice; Baywatch (LA County Lifeguards) requested LAFD medical support in their search for two reported missing swimmers. One 10yo male was located, evaluated and did not require transport to the hospital. LA County Lifeguard is leading the continuing search for the 2nd swimmer, reported to be the adult father of the 1st patient. LAFD is on medical standby only.
As you can see from the below tweet, divers were spotted continuing the search for Shad last night.
