Find out the latest update on how long Liv Morgan might be out of WWE action due to an injury she suffered in the ring on TV.
The injury occurred during a tag team match with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez facing off against Bayley and Dakota Kai, a match in which Kai also suffered an injury.
With Kai reportedly suffering a torn ACL in the match, Morgan was reported to have sustained a shoulder injury.
Now in an update from Fightful Select, a bit more about the expected time out of action for Morgan.
According to the report, WWE sources told Fightful to expect Morgan to “at least be sidelined through the summer.”
Given the expected length of time out of action, Morgan and Rodriguez relinquished their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with Rodriguez going on to gain an opportunity to reclaim them with a new partner.
Next week on Raw, a four-way match will crown new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, with the four teams being Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi, Bayley & IYO SKY, Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville, and Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler.
Earlier reports noted that Morgan would not be expected to return “anytime soon” so this update provides a little bit more information than what was previously known.
Everyone at WrestleTalk continues to wish Liv Morgan a full and speedy recovery!
