The latest independent wrestling star to be hired by WWE has been revealed, with them set to start with the company on Monday.
WWE hired a number of independent wrestling stars following their latest tryouts at the WWE Performance Center last year, with them starting with the company in January.
However, another independent wrestling star is reportedly now on his way to WWE, though not in an in-ring capacity.
Per Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net, independent wrestler Patrick Scott is set to join WWE as the new writers assistant for SmackDown, and is set to begin with the company on Monday.
PWF in North Carolina had a send off for Scott at their show on Saturday, with Scott leaving his boots in the ring following his match.
He since posted a tweet, teasing something coming in the coming days:
“I’ll have a lot more to say in the coming days. For now, I will just say this… Thank you.”
