Latest On Popular Star Potentially Winning WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Match WWE

An update has emerged on a popular star potentially winning their Money in the Bank ladder match at the upcoming premium live event.

With the 2023 Money in the Bank event set to emanate from London, England next Saturday (July 1), there has been a lot of speculation surrounding the two Money in the Bank ladder matches.

While there are a number of names who could potentially walk out of the O2 Arena with one of the briefcases, there’s no denying that there are some fan-favourites who WWE fans are really getting behind.

One popular star who many want to win her ladder match is IYO SKY. Many are predicting that she will become Ms Money in the Bank, following a previous report indicating that SKY is the frontrunner to win the women’s briefcase.

Fightful Select (subscription required) has provided an update on this initial report, confirming that there have been backstage discussions about SKY winning ‘going back quite a bit’.

Per the report, the sources that told them this reiterated that people won’t be told about WWE’s final plan for the winner until the day of Money in the Bank 2023.

This means that decisions on this year’s Money in the Bank winners won’t be finalised until July 1, and as WWE have proven before, plans could drastically change before then.

In the other ladder match, many fans are calling for LA Knight to become Mr Money in the Bank.

John Cena recently acknowledged the rising star’s fast-growing popularity, which you can read more about right here.
